Default LS1 Miata Swap...

I've seriously been debating on swapping my LS1 from my Camaro into a Miata. I would swap everything that I would need into the Miata from my Camaro & then just sell it as roller/parts. I was wondering if anyone has done this? Any info that I would need... Parts that you suggest I would need? I would use this as a DD & would probably add heads, cam, & maybe spray?

Does anyone know some good sites that sell parts that Ill need? I've read up on Boss Frog & heard their parts are good.

These vids kind of won me over...

Search is your friend. There are plenty of build threads on here. Be careful about emissions laws in swaps, since you're in California. For some stupid reason, passing smog emissions alone doesn't seem to be enough for the ***** there.

LSx Miatas are awesome! I would suggest a refreshed suspension, sticky tires, and stock power levels for a while. You'd be amazed at what tripling the horsepower of the stock car will do.

We have plans to do this to my wife's 92 Miata. I have to finish my 80 Malibu and 75 Vette project first

Yea I found this site http://www.swaptastic.net/index.html helped out a lot with info & opinions. But tell me something I don't know..... I live in CA trust me I know about the smog here. I've already been state ref for my Camaro having a "race exhaust" lol & headers

Thanks for that link... But yea its INSANE what a stock LS1 Miata is capable of. But I guess I would have to do some custom work to really get it to hook from a dig.
