I have a 98 S10 with a 01 LS1 swap. I wish I would have bought a harness from Current, but instead we modified the stock harness to work with the F-body harness and computer. The fuel gauge and temp gauge do not work at all. I have all of the information at the ALDL connector, so the signal is being sent from the computer.

My question is do the f-body and truck computers read information at a different baud rate?

I have chased this problem for a while, any help will be appreicated.

Old Kid

I used all parts from a 99 SS in my project including the gauges. Modified my harness with schematics from this site (Thanks guys!). Some gauges did not work. Drove me nuts! Turns out I needed a second power source to a point marked "security" on the GM gauge wiring diagram. Don't remember if it was switched or not. I can dig up my old notes if you need more info. Hope this helps.
