Default LS 376/480 information

I'm about to begin a build of a '57 chevy bel air 2 dr hardtop and am very interested in the GM Performance Parts crate LS 376/480. Does anyone know of any problems with this motor, as I've heard there are problems if you run an automatic trans with it dying at a stop sign. I would love to have a lumpy cam LS motor, but I don't want problems.

People that have problems with swap engines/automatics dying at stop signs aren't running a VSS. All you have to do is connect a VSS to the pcm and it will work wonders.
