Default walbro pumps

I hear everyone tossing around about gettin a walbro 255 pump, is there a certain model to get? lookin at replacing the one in my POS Spectra tank.

Hey Rick, I have a Walbro 255 that's supposed to be a direct replacement for a fourth gen Camaro in my truck right now, that I'm thinking of replacing with one from Racetronix. I need one that will work with the bucket type fuel sending unit that I have, and apparently you have to modify the bucket for the one.I have to work. The Racetronix pump doesn't require any nods. If you want to try the Walbro I have, just let me know.

I used the 255LPH in mine and the installation was pretty straight forward. I purchased it through an ebay vendor based upon the recommendation from another LS1 tech member. You can do an ebay search for item # 280643409476 to see the actual vendor and item I used in mine.

It still upsets me that so many people were ripped off by this faulty tank... Good luck.
