I don't know if you posted a pic or not, but something you could try out. Put 12V on one of the studs and start checking for 12V where the fuses would go. Usually the stud is where the fuse block gets 12V from the battery.

Default stuck fuse block

im sure someone has done this b4. where does the +12v power go to on a stock fuse block? plenty have posted that they have used the stock fuse block & they they connected power to the studs, but which one? (2) studs are in front of the fuse block. there are (2) possible connectors on the side. one of the connectors on the side may use a ground wire. ill post pics once im home. ls1nova71, meanyellowz, rennat, chime on.

For a F-body , the fuse boxes had the stud and if you notice or if it is still there, there are three fusable link wire, they should be connected to the Battery. So.. as stated, you can connect the battery to the studs.

Then connected to the stud and fusable wires... is a metal plate that would connected to the main fuse on the box.

I have rewired my box by repinning and wiring.

I have posted this before and is in my LS1 Nova build thread.
