Default LQ4 swap, where can I hook up vacuum brakes?

My car has dangerously bad stopping power, where can I tie in the original brake booster for vacuum?

80 trans am with an LQ4.

What Intake do you have? There is a Vac Port on just about every Intake Manifold out there. If you have the stock LQ4 Manifold out of a 2500HD then it wont have it cause the Brakes on the Truck are run by Hydroboost. You will have to add a 1/2" Vacuum barb on the drivers side..the spot where it would go has a factory plug in it.

It's not that one..it's about 1" in diameter..right inbetween #5 & #7 cylinder on the Manifold.

Mine has a red ring on the plug. I took it out, drilled it, and epoxied a 90* hose barb in it. I then rotated the booster can so the inlet is at the bottom. Ran the hose, done deal....
