89 Caprice I have an '89 Caprice with the 305E engine. It only has 247,000 miles. I normally can get at least 350,000 before I start looking for another one. I'm getting close to retirement age and if the originial engine goes, I'm thinking about a 5.3. I would like to just take one out of a pickup with all of the fuel injection and improvements made since 1989. I don't want to hot rod it as I have a 100 mile commute daily. I'm looking to get at least 25 MPG. But, I still want my cruise control and other items. What will I have to do to install this? I'm sure there are already examples of this out here. Is there anyone within a decent distance of 22560 who can do this install?
