I am building a 2001 5.3 out of a truck and need to know if the 350 turbo will bolt up but if not what will bolt to the engine

what other parts will need to be changed as well

by the way......i am punching the 5.3 to fit a standard 5.7 ls1 crank, rods and stk 10.5:1 pistons

is their a special flex plate to fit the crank as well

This..

Flexplate, Spacer & Bolts from a 6.0l/4L80E 2500 HD..

You will have to oval out the holes for the smaller convertor pattern on the TH350.

TH350 installed behind my 408 in my MCSS.

Needs to be off and any LSx engine that had a 4L80E behind it. The 2500 is a good search vehicle when looking for used parts on car-part.com

or just oval out the holes on your 5.3 flexplate and use the Hughes performance crank spacer.
