Can I use a E40 ECM on a 06 LQ9?

Default Can I use a E40 ECM on a 06 LQ9?
Can I use an E40 ECM on my 06 LQ9? I already have a harness, (for the 06 LQ9) so if I wanted to use a E40 ECM would I need a different harness? Or is this just not going to work at all?

The 06 LQ9 harness would be set up for the 06 - early 07 style class 2 PCM.
The E40 is a CAN based controller, and wont work with your harness.
A Class 2 PCM would likely be a better candidate for your swap
