Default LS1 in a fox with a Ford Tremec 3550. Is the VSS adaptable to GM computer?

Would it be the same signal input for the LS1 computer? If not, is there a way to adapt it? I want to run a Ford tranny but I don't want to lose driveability.

Thanks

How many wires come out of the ford VSS? If it's two, then it's the right kind of signal, although I have no idea what pulse rate it will be.

Yes, its 2 wires. I'll have to look into the pulse rate and see what the difference is
