GM Performanc has no engines??...

Yeah, I browsed the GMPP site too...
I've been working with a shop planning an EROD LS3 swap. The engine availability is pretty spotty---it apparently sells quickly & the distribution varies, with the most available in Texas (a month or two ago, at least). I found one locally & the quoted shipping cost to the shop wasn't too bad.
There was a post somewhere saying their prices would change October 1, but I haven't noticed any dramatic changes on their site.
My project is in a kind of limbo waiting for the shop to agree to start, so threads like this make me nervous.

I am moving toward an LS swap in my old car. I was looking around GM Perf. and I thought the prices were pretty good. I clicked on the sales register and there was a GM dealer pretty close by. I called them, they ran the part numbers and could not get the engines. I'm sure I can find one, I just wanted to swing by my local dealer and pick it up w/receipt. I used these P/N and contacted a GM dealer as listed. I thought the prices were pretty good, 5400 bucks.

LS6 crate motor was discontinued last year through GM. Some people have them still.
