Motor Swap??
I have a 2001 Pontiac Firebird with a 3800. I bought an LQ4 and was planning on swapping but Im torn. Ive been hearing horror stories at the amount of work that it would be from some people and From other people hearing that its not that bad??
My biggest worry was the wiring harness but ive been told only 2 connectors run inside the car through the firewall?
But Ive also been told that i would need to change the brake lines and fuel lines along with a whole new fuel system upgrade?
Just though you guys might know more about this than me? I'm new to the LS scene Ive been building my GTP for the past 2 years and just got this one so trying to figure everything out.
Thanks in advance!

you should be able to find a few threads by using the search function ..
ona 2001 you shouldnt need to change brake lines as all 98+ cars had the same brakes ..
you`ll need a fuel pump , fuel lines (differed between years I believe) , radiator etc. too nad thats all I can tell you from the top of my head ..
