I have my schematics in fron of me and I see the #10 pin in the green connector seems to 2 wires in it. The white (Engine Speed Signal(except hp2)) and a light blue/black (Medium resolution engine speed signal(hp2)). Not sure what the HP2. I do know pins 70 & 71 are for the high speed bus also labeled HP2 on schematic) and my PCM does not use them. I also need to figure out how to delete the unwanted emisions and transmission controle from the PCM using HP Tuners.

Yours might have different schematics than mine..which yr ls1/pcm are you using?! And the sunpro I used had a chart along that specified exactly which wire to tap into for that certain yr/model car!! And make sure you set the tach to the 6 cylinder setting!!

Using '03 truck PCM... 6cyl setting? My tack only has 4 wires power, ground, light, and signal.

Then it might be alittle different, can't say that I no how the truck pcm is set up!! Here is how i did mine, white wire to dimmer switch, power wires I tapped into the stereo power wires (or closest power source) green wire through fire wall to pcm #10 white wire!! And the setting is in the back of the tach and for some reason its supposed to be at 6 cyl....maybe someone else will pitch in that has a better explanation as to why but my tach reading is dead on with it at that setting!

I would tune the PCM to be set at 3 on the Tach Output Table, and then set the Tach for a V8.
