Default 5.3 power steering pump ?/Oil filler neck

Have a 2005 5.3 going into 62 Nova, have power steering pump for the 5.3 and need help with the plumbing. Pump has three ports (1) large port on bottom [thinking this is the pressure out], (2) there is a hard line in the center area [thinking this might be the return], (3) there is a hard line near the top of the pump [I don't know what this is for].
Thanks
Oh one other question, is there a trick to removing the oil filler neck, trying to unscrew that thing and it just won't come out.

The bottom port is for the pressure line. The others are both return ports since the vehicle the pump came out of had hydroboost. You can just cap one return port shut.

To remove the oil filler neck, remove the valve cover and push the tab on the inside and twist.

On the hydraboost pump, use the lower return line. Seems as tho, there are problems with noisy pumps if you don't...BTDT.

Just twist off the filler neck if you never want it again. That's what I did. The cap will work on the cover itself.

I had Hydroboost on my pump - threaded a big bolt into one return.

Be careful just twisting it. The plastic tab can/will break off and you may have to remove the valve cover anyway to get it out.

How do you actually cap off the line? Where do you get a cap?

Also, does anyone know the thread pattern on the pressure? I heard 16mm X 1.5 but it looks like the line off my 69GTO will fit which is definitely not metric.

Also, the type of flare on the 3/8" line, does anyone know what it is? Only reason I ask is that the receptacle on the pump seems to have about 5 threads then funnel down to the hole, so a normal double or bubble flare won't matter, right?

Thanks
Jim

Does anyone know what the pressure line fittings are? Is it 16mm x 1.5? I read that on another thread but wanted to confirm.
Also, for anyone running the grand cherokee box swap, do you know what those fittings are? Looks like the pressure port is 18mm and I don't know what the LP line is.
