Default Ls harness questions

Got a 98 ls with harness. Was thinking of reworking harness over getting a new conversion one. It doesn't look that complicated with the right diagram to follow. Question being is do I need another fuse block to wire into for all power or use car block. Are there any other issues that I need to know or should I just get spear tech or someone else to rework harness. Also who have you used in reworking with a reasonable cost plus could reprogram ecm

The truck harnesses are usually easier to find than the fbody ones....but you can make one out of pretty much any style.

Do I need to have a more custom harness to retain gauge operation and other functions or can I use the computer that is on a 81 TTA to continue those operations and just get the basic start harness.

I think that you can use tachometer but will have to get a converter for the speedo. You will use the tacho wire and maybe a resister. I'm swapping a LS into my 79ta, but I'm going with new guages so I haven't checked into this much.
