Default Turbo 4.8 LSx SC300 - 509rwhp @ 12psi

I finally had some dyno time and ended up with some respectable results. 509/452 @ 12 psi. There is a lot of power left on the table, we didnt have time to really ramp up the boost.

The build consists of a '08 LY2 4,8 LSx motor, LS6 cam/springs, LS2 intake, mpt70 turbo, 4l80e trans, FTI 3600 converter, Precision 46mm WG, Tial BOV, custom tuned with EFILive.

I need to get some detailed pics of the car. Its still a work in progress....

Enjoy!

Thanks dude. Your Z28 looks very familiar. I'm pretty sure it used to sit in my garage ;-)

Lol for real? I know its been around Jax a while. I bought it from a buddy, Amit. If what I have been told is right the first owner of my car was a younger guy that is deaf I believe, who sold it to his GF's dad who had the ls2 swapped in, And later sold it to my friend Amit. At least thats a brief description of my understanding of my cars story. You the original owner?

I bought it from my friend Mike (the deaf guy). It was stock with just the SLP headers (which I helped Mike install back in the day). I did the LS2 swap, FAST90/90, SFCs, built the torque arm, 3.73s w/torsen diff, ECu upgrade (with doc), VIG 3500 stall, bilsteins, panhard.. etc... it was a fun car! It ran a 11.20 @ 122 at Gainesville. I think I had it for 3 years... sold it to Amit.

LOL, here you go... http://youtu.be/kWNcaUAWUfM

Ouch.... that's like watching another dude work your girlfriend.

But those 4.8s are tough little motors, I was suprised to see the power they things put down.

Here's an article shows just how stout the smaller LSx blocks are. 50+ dyno runs at 1200hp is pretty impressive.

Sounded like the boost was instant. Do you have a .96AR exhaust housing on the MPT70?
