I have a 2003 lq4/4l80e set up in my 71 chevelle. I had speartech redo my harness and left it stock length. So I mounted my ecm on the drvrs side wheel well behind the headlite. The small fuse box that came with the harness I mounted on the fire wall above the mastercyl. Good luck.

If you are willing to extend a few wires and drill a hole, it can easily be mounted on top of the glove box. But since you are trying to do it quickly then this probably isn't the way to go. but i thought i would just throw it out there.

Mine is on top of the glove box like above. Fuse box is in the glove box itself.

I have mine tucked in the space behind the driver side headlight, high on the inner fender. I used MSD vibration isolators as the mounts. They screw right into the PCM. The fuse block is adjacent to the PCM on the inner fender.

Does everyone recommend getting the fuse block from the donor vehicle?

I went and bought individual 6 fuse fuse blocks and then used two of them mounted on the heater box. but i eliminated a lot from my harness, so this made more sense for me then to have a pile of empty spaces in the stock fuse panel.

See post 48 in my build
