Default 62 Impala LSX Headers.. Need Help

I have a 62 IMpala in which I'm doing a 5.3 swap, My main concern is Headers. Who makes them and what are my options besides welding up a custom set, I see Street & Performance makes a set but who else?

I have a 64 impala and I use a set of Sanderson headers! They have a few different models for LS engines and are very nice guys to work with!

Yes I think they call them shorties! I had to use the shortie due to I have airbags so long tubes ran under the frame. I also made my own pipes from header to mufflers. If u look at the my 64 impala thread I have a few pics

I was shown some pics of a 62 Impala with a set of s-10 headers on it.

They actually look like a nice fit. Not sure on the make of them.

They look very similar! Sanderson has a few different models depending all on where you want the collector to be and tube size.

Sorry to dig up old dirt but was wondering what way you went with headers. I am debating between huggers and long tubes, as of right now I think either will work for me. I am leaning towards long tubes just for ease of doing the rest of the exhaust. I'm on a tight budget but don't want to hack it, just trying to find the best way to go

The Hooker cast manifolds are a great option as well. Save some money and get the uncoated ones then rattle can them with dry film lubricant.
