Talking ?????

How much of the Regal "stuff" do you want to retain??
Dash? lighting? Key switch? Fuse panel?

I'm doing an 85 El Camel for a customer. I retained the ft body wiring, signals, h/ls, corner lights, etc, wipers, and the rear lites from the kick panel plug back. I also retained the stock column w/ turn, hi beam, horn, key sw.
The dash, a/c, radio, are custom.

I disconnected the thru the firewall connector, and traced all the wires and labelled them. Same thing w/ the rear body harness and the column harness. [I had printouts of the El Camel's wiring, and the American Autowire Hiway 22 panel I put in.] Makes things MUCH easier!
I used Weatherpak connectors at the firewall, and did away w/ the nasty stock connector. [You could use it and take out the unwanted wires.]

BEFORE YOU START CUTTING, GET THE WIRING DIAGRAMS!

If you need more ideas... It's best to call me..

Default Wiring diagrams

You may try this http://www.maliburacing.com/wiring.html i know that they are for the malibu, el camino, etc... But may still be the same because of GM color code per wiring.

Here is a link for the gauges pin outs, again they are for a Malibu but still may be the same not really sure though http://www.maliburacing.com/gauge_conversion.html

I made a standalone out of the 03 truck harness and hooked it to my Chevelle hrness with 4 wires and batt cables. Didn't cut 1 wire from the Chevelle factory herness. I did use the old trans and dash. Was very easy and runs perfect.
