depends on your budget, and which motor mounts you use......
super cheap, but not the best = modified truck pan
midrange$$ = 98-02 F-body pan unmodified, or slightly better CTSV pan( both need 1" setback mounts)
more dollars, and better = AutoKraft/Champ pan, Canton, Milodon
Best IMHO = Moroso, but its $300 including the pickup + plumbing for remote filter
I personally do NOT like either the Holley, Mast, RetroLS, or the GM muscle car pans, because they do not hold enough volume, and do not have good baffling for anything destined for the drag strip.
This is all just MY opinions, and you know what they say about those, haha

x2 for the Moroso. I just ordered mine. I bought the 20140 because it doesnt slope down like the 20141. I also bought a remote filter adapter from ebay for a VW bug. It was recommended by someone doing a swap. Im going to get -10AN to hose barb for the oil filter connection to save $.

i am going to run motor plates front and mid, do you know how far the moroso pan hangs below the crossmember in a "stock swap " on a 67-69 camaro or nova as the bottom of my crossmember is only 3.5 off ground

1/2" - 3/4" but this is a guess based on the fact that it is 1/2" deeper than an f body pan, and that sits about flush w/ the x member. your engine mounts will be the deciding factor

3Pedals are you using 1" set back or 1" set forward mounts? Will the Moroso work with the 1" set forward mounts?

I am using 1" set back mounts - engine is very close to touching the firewall.
I CAN NOT verify if the moroso will clear 1" forward mounts, but I think it will based on how the f-body pan fits my car, and measurements provided on moroso's website
