Default Low profile headers...

I'm thinking about welding together plate headers. I know they are inefficient but it seems like they would help lower end torque and inefficient is better than no motor at all.

So I'm thinking of cutting custom plate flanges that bolt on, then welding a top strip to it, a bottom strip, and then a piece to connect the two so the exhaust dumps into it and it follows the block incredibly close and can have a cut out and flange welded on wherever you need it to be.

Are there any downsides that could cause motor problems?
