Default GMPP harness and ecu...worth the price?

Looks like I scored a deal on a L76 (alum 6L w/ L92 heads) and so it's time for the swap to happen in the Chevelle. Was at a dyno day and a local builder/tuner mentioned he has a GMPP harness/ecu setup that a customer ended up not needing for a swap. Missing the O2 sensors but otherwise complete (includes pedal) and new. He traded the guy $500 worth of parts... I'm reading it's bulky but I can get for $500. What are others thoughts?

Let me add that I will most likely use a TH400 until I can afford to do the T-56 Magnum swap.

I bought one for my ls3 swap and it makes thing so much easier! The hardest part was sourcing the terminals for the bulkhead. Super clean, easy to understand, it's a little bulky but you got TONS of room in old school cars like the chevelle.... I fit it in my BMW, so it's not that bulky. It's definitely worth $1000 new, even better $500!!

Well I'm just gonna buy it since it's a great price.
