86 4eyed notch with 6.0 Project halfbreed So far i have an 86 notch southern car with no rust. Aje kmember and a-arms, coilovers with 90/10 lakewood struts, castor camber plates, skinnykid motorplate. As for the rear its got a narrowed 8.8 (1in per side) with granatelli adj. uppers n lowers, dual rear antiroll bar 60/40 rear shocks moser axles and spool 33 spline. Draglites. Almost everything ive bought for this car so far is used. Ive got low mileage ly6 out of 08 van with the l92 heads. Gettin ready to order intake n custom grind cam from cam motion. Prolly use the vic intake. arp rod n head bolts. Just about ready to mock up the engine n trans. Goin with 350 turbo for now with 4500 stahl n brake. Ill post more as i continue the build. Lookin for 9.9s all motor! This is a true junkyard build on an 8k budget! Let Hot Rod do a story on that. I love it when they do a 20k budget car lol. The Camaro in my sig went 10.8s and i had 6k in the car as i rescued it from a junkyard and i sold it for 7 after beatin on it all year!

Thanks. Had more pics but wont upload, keeps sayin they are to large. Now have all my rear end pieces, now i just need the heads to get back from machine shop. looks like were takin 40 off now just to cut on the pistons! B warm bfore u know it n ill prolly still b finishin up!lol

Heres a few current pics. Engine isnt in yet, i just dropped the struts all the way down so i could get some pics! The rear is done, wore me out clearing the tires, swingin that hammer! Just picked up an aluminum block, ls2, lookin to save some more weight on the road to 9s. Also gonna sell trans and converter as im gonna run a rpm 4l60e with a tci controller. Lookin to have it all rollin in july. Just depends on my sidework fundin the car.

Well things are gettin more interesting! Its now turned into a 402 stroker. Thanks to killer deals on the internet as well as this site. I now have manley pistons n rods and a callies crank. All parts are now in place, just gotta find the time to get it built. Hope to get the cage welded in next week, then bolt the block n empty trans to the skinny kid motor plate so i can weld in the tabs! Hopefully have it built n tested in time to make it to bowling green.

Doin a little mockup, everythings in place n tabs welded in for motor plate, just need to make the crossmember, then its off to have the cage welded in!

Dont know the part num offhand, but its the only one they sell. I thought it was two piece when i ordered it as thats what they show in the pics, but was pleasantly surprised that it was one piece when it came in the mail.
