Default 70 Chevelle Headers

I saw a thread where some one use 4th gen Camaro headers in a GM A body but can't find it now. I am gonna put the 4.8 in the Chevelle this weekend and was wondering about headers. I don't want to spend tons of funds cuz they are not gonna be in there too long. Saw some stainless ones for about $200 on Ebay and was wondering if anyone has had luck fitting them in the 70 Abody. I am using "standard location" mounts.

I just tried this in my build with the standard location mounts and the Pacesetter headers. Check my thread.

The driver's side needs some massaging on the #1 primary, as it turns down about 1/4"-1/2" too soon and hits the crossmember.

The passenger's side fit like a glove for me, but it looks like the farthest out pipe would slightly interfere with the frame near the starter location.

BUT - I picked mine up used off of this site for ~$100 or so. Can't really go wrong that way. It is good enough to get things running.

I wonder if a set would fit a 66? Are your frames that much different than Mine?

I ran 2002 Camaro Hooker Super Comp LT headers on mine. The drivers side collector needed to be straighted to run straight back. Thats about it!
