1955 2nd gen chevy truck lq4 swap hey guys i bought me a new toy its a 1955 2nd gen chevy truck step side small back window! Its has a 76 camaro front clip welded to the trucks stock frame an the 76 camaro stock rear end.... i just picked up a lq4 6.0l motor off ebay an it comes as a drop out. It has the acc. drive an wire harness an ecm no tranny am still looking for a 4l80e! but my question is does anyone know anyone who has done this swap yet i cant find anything on the web that is any good to look at..... i would need help on this build lol
ls1tech.com has helped me alot on my other ls1 build in a 69 camaro.. Am thinking i could use the same motor mounts (hooker) an hope the headers would work an then the fuel system would need to be redone like the camaro's. but i know theres more that i am missing any info would be greatful guys thanks

6o swap Go to www.67-72chevytrucks.com several on that site have done it. They will be a lot of help. I am doing a 5.3/4l60e in a 53 3100 chevy.
