Default proud f body owner, need help

So what I'm here is to ask the ultimate question. I'm ready to do a ls1 swap into my 98 3.8 bird. I was wondering if anyone can direct me to where I can read more about the swap. I would like to know what exactly I'm going to need, and I mean everything I'm going to need to finalize the swap. Plus it would be nice to chat with someone who has also done it. Any help would be much appreciated

What about fuel lines and new fuel pump?

Why rear end? I can understand front end to beef it up for the v8

Our 10 bolts are nearly garbage. You don't necessarily need to change to a 12 bolt or 9 inch. You can stick with your 10 bolt but if your going to do it. Do it right. Get a ls1 k-member. Hopefully factory one. The aftermarket ones are known to be weaker.

Is it an auto or manual? I am putting down over 390 RWHP and have the same 10 bolt with stock gearing in the A4. Have over 80 time slips without any issues. If you have a manual then forget everything I just said and consider a new rear end if you plan on taking it to the strip.

Auto tranny, at what point do I decide to sell my v6 and just buy a trans am? I bought the car for 1500 months ago, I just feel like that's a great deal and shell to work with.

Eh that's about right. V6's are cheap. Its actually much cheaper to just buy a trans am. Because then you have a trans am... not a firebird.

Not much difference between an Auto and a T56 car..just a few wires.
