Default Looking for a short AC compressor

What have you used besides the older harriston syle ac compressors?

I need something shorter to make sure I don't have header or engine mount clearance problems.

I think the Sanden SD508 might work fine, but figured I'd see if there were better options.

There was a similar thread last week - I think it's on the second page on the Conversions forum.

Anyway, if you're using accessories with the Corvette spacing, consider the LSA compressor add-on kit. I think it works with the Corvette spacing. It looks tiny compared to the other LS compressors!

Ok, I'll check for that.

I have the complete C6 accessory drive including the AC, but the AC parts don't fit. I need at least an inch.

I ordered one and should have it by the beginning of next week. I am going to put it on as soon as I get it to make sure it fits, and I can take measurements for you if you want.

Please do! --

I guess the main thing would be from the middle of the belt groove to the back of the compressor...

It looks like the LSA mounting bracket mounts similar to the C6 ac bracket. Maybe a pic or 2 if you can

Thanks
