Default Using a 97-02 Corvette pedal with a 5.3 DBW application - need help

I have been trying to research this and not having very good luck because I'm missing some information.

I have a 2004 5.3 engine, harness, tac, throttlebody, and pedal. I want to use the 1997-2002 Corvette DBW pedal in place of the truck pedal.

What I have found out so far:

I should be able to use the corvette pedal providing I still use the trucks tac module and throttle body. I would only have to swap two wires around on the harness to make it work...even the plugs are the same.

What I need to know:

1. What wires do I need to swap around on the truck harness plug?

2. Has anyone actually done this successfully in a car and does the swap work ok?

I'm trying to get my car going and I hope someone can help me out. I don't want to screw something up.

If I am off on any of this information please let me know

Ok it looks like the plugs are the same, but pins E and J need to be switched around

Will this work or is there going to be an issue with the signal between the two?

Thanks, I figured out in another thread that my application is going to be hard to retrofit. My only solution is to use the stock 2004 DBW pedal out of the truck....I had already cut it down. I was just wanting something a little smaller and less bulky.

On 2002 - 2004 trucks (I think) it was a little different, GM change them in 2005 or 2006 so the choices are a lot better for swapping pedals around and it plug and play. The 1997-2002 corvette pedal has the same plug end as the 2002-2004 trucks, and even all the wires are the same (two would have needed to be switched around) but the way the switch in the pedal works is different. I think one is a 2.5 volt and the other is a 5 volt but not sure

Sad thing is the switches on the two pedals are removable, and can be swapped around...I think the throw of the corvette pedal is shorter than the truck...which would make the engine run at 1/2 speed I think.

If anyone knows of anything different please let me know....heck I am open to a lokar pedal if I know it would work.
