Default rockauto tank??

im building a 2nd gen camaro ls 6 speed and im wondering has anyone used the tank from rock auto, it has the pump in the tank if im reading right it says its ready to go for an ls swap. thought i would ask before i dropped some coin. thanks

I'm guessing this is the spectra efi tank. It's what I have and it came from rock auto. There is a thread about that tank here somewhere; I think there is a newer version that works better.

and yes i believe it is same tank i read the post it was mostly ppl bashing about what they had heard was wanting some info from ppl who have one thanks

I've had no real issue with mine so far but I only have 500 miles or so on it. The filler neck angle was not steep enough and the old factory cap did not fit well (nor did any aftermarket one I could find) so gas would always slosh out but with a little time and $15 or so I fixed that. If I had it to do over again I'd probably just baffle an old tank and use a tanksinc setup.

Ok what am I missing. How are you finding the EFI tank on rock auto because I only find the stock replacement tanks

if you look under 70 camaro they have them i have a 71 but its same tank.

they dont show them under 71. in your sig looks like you have 79 T/A which has deeper tank or is deeper on 1 side i seen a write up on nastyz28 to modify that tank pretty easy ill find it right quick
