Finally finished my 6.0l LQ4 S10
I finally finished my swap!!
Alright guys so today was the day I have been waiting a very long time for, truck is back on the road, legal, inspected, running, tuned, ect ect. Haven't put any miles on her yet but I wanna put some easy miles on it first being the motor and trans have a total of like 15 miles on them, so theres going to be some break in stuff, anyways heres the whole list and shebang:
2001 Chevy S10 Xtreme
Started with a 4.3l with a powerdyne and nitrous and now have moved to a 6.0l LQ4
LQ4: Stock heads, LS6 intake, a/c delete, MS3 Cam (.603/.609 237/242), Corvette accessories, Speed density intake and tune, 4l80E with a 4000 stall converter, ford 9" with 3.55's for now. Truck made 370rwhp through the converter and heavy driveline.
Whats in plans for it: 4.10.s drag radials, long tube headers, Cal-Tracs, LS3 heads and custom cam, re-paint the bumpers, fix the dings and nicks and scratches and clean up the outside, clean up the whole interior, wiring needs addressing, install a pioneer full screen nav unit I have sitting here, new floor matts, pull the NOS bottle out, pull the bed cover off, replace the goofy rice lights with factory units, possible doing a headlight swap, disc brakes in the rear, bucket seats with a center console, all minor stuff I can chip away at.
Got a big list of minor things to start working on but plenty to keep me going and interested, at least I can drive it and enjoy it now, anyways heres the pics I have of it, lost most of the starting pics however sorry guys! Video's to follow:

Its a little touchy and I'm wondering if the converter isn't quite right on it, it stalls as im coming to a stop, seems like as I'm at speed it'll return to idle as I'm about 20mph or so and as I stop it just dies on me, it's also not very consisten on shifting, otherwise it's a hell of a lot of fun

I put an ls1 in my 03 xtreme. Biggest choke in the system were the sanderson's. There wasn't any LT's available when I did my swap. Wish They were available. I bet you will see some decent gains when you make the switch. Wish I still had that truck, it was the most fun DD I think i've ever had.
A sporty truck that has the sound to back it up really turns heads! nice job with your swap

Pretty sure, it's sporadic, random, I'm also having issues with my entire gauge cluster acting up, no speedo, fuel gauge not working, it's throwing a voltage code and the battery light is intermittent even though it's charging and showing 14.1v off it, my turn signals are lit up solid but work when I turn them on.
When we bought the truck it had an aftermarket cluster in it and was a nightmare electrically so I'm also thinking this could contribute to it

So found the source of what I think is most of the issues, whoever did the exhaust work a few years back left two bolts loose and one bolt off my passenger side collector where it meets the exhaust, probably causing the O2 sensor to flip out

I installed a LQ9 out of a 2004 Escalade, into my 2000 Extreme and I imagine the reason why the alternator is touching the hood is because I should have used the Corvette accessory set up?
