Default 98 LS1 to 93 Notch check off list

Been lingering here for a while and have been stock piling parts for my conversion. Tell me what ya think and what I have forgotten.

-98 Z28 LS1 Motor and 4l60E trans

-AJE Conversion K Member and mounts

-AJE 4l60E to Fox cross member

-PSI wiring harness

-PSI brake switch

-99+ ECM

-Mustang D/S (Have heard that 5 spd Mustang D/S will fit with a Precision U-joint 353 and strange U1661 yoke)

-6AN fuel line

-98 Camaro Radiator and factory fans

-Mac long tube headers for the Ford 351 and LS1 specific flanges

-Kooks header gaskets

I need to get the Vette filter/regulator and some fittings.........Am I forgetting much?

Here is the car that its all going into 93 Coupe, 8 pt welded cage, 8.8" rear with 3:73 gears, thru the floor sub frame connectors etc etc.

Trying my best to do all my homework and grunt work before diving in head 1st. I am really not looking forward to the wiring and gauge set up!!

Hey, I see you over in NY. I'm in Bergen County, NJ with a 93 Notch with a 98 ls1/4l60e swap. If you ever want to check out the car and look over the wiring to help with your build shoot me a PM.

You got all the big stuff. THese projects sure like to nickel and dime you in th eend thats for sure. I did use my stock driveshaft from my notch with a th350. Was about 1/2" short from sitting in the output shaft correctly so i bought the steeda driveshaft spacer to compensate for that.

Were and what shifter will you be running?

Yep, its the little stuff that can hurt the old wallet as well.......

I have the factory shifter and cable assy from the 98 donor car, I was gonna attempt to make that work 1st. Hopefully in the stick Mustang tunnel opening. If not, I will have to go with an aftermarket set up.

Thanks for the info on the d/s info.

Im running a short tail shaft turbo 350 and My driveshaft (Ford racing) was 3" to short. Im getting a custom driveshaft made tomorrow.
My stock v8 cross member fit almost perfect. I had to open up the slots on the bottom. I also used a T5 tranny mount

Nice, you lucked out with the cross member..... I didnt want to learn the hard way with the 4l60e so I just ordered up the AJE cm from SK Speed. I am hoping the stock ds will fit with the adapter yoke for my application......

You can pick up f body gauge clusters cheap. From the info I've read here it makes the gauge issue pretty simple. I believe PSI even offers a pigtail to adapt their harness to the f body cluster. I'll find out soon, I have a camaro cluster going in my 95 GT.

PSI does make a harness. I have one for my fox body swap.
