Default Custom Serpentine Accessory Drive.

Not sure how much interest there may be in this but i've developed my own accessory drive for LS swaps. The A/C bracket and tensioner would work with the truck alternator/power steering bracket, sort of an A/C relocation kit. The complete setup will not work with OEM efi intakes as shown. For anyone using a conventional carburated intake this setup is perfect. Give me some feedback, good or bad. Based on feedback from here and other forums I may apply for a patent and produce these on a limited basis.

Here's the link to it directly:

Or you can read about my swap which contains the above info for the drive setup.

Thank you.

To reply to the posts below, the tensioner bracket has multiple holes in it to set belt tension. I did not slot it out of personal preference but it could easily be slotted in the future. I will post a link in the LSx carb section. That was a great suggestion, thank you TomM.

looks great! my question is - it looks like you used a stationary pulley. how do you loosen the system to get belt on and off?

I think you answered your own question. You might be better off posting in the carb forum, you'll probably get a better response. I think most like the benefit if EFI........but this is just my opinion, what do I know...

Nice looking setup though, good job on the R&D..........

Default Belt tensioner.

To answer downset71's question, I did not slot the bracket rather I drilled multiple holes into it to set and hold the tension on the belt. If you remove the tension bolt the bracket will pivot out of the way to remove/install the belt. The tensioner bracket is held into place with two bolts.

Thank you for the compliment and question.

Default A/C compressor relocation kit.

Just wanted to point out this feature. The A/C bracket and tensioner would work with the truck alternator/power steering bracket as sort of an A/C compressor relocation kit.

Default High mount a/c with LS3 accessory drive.

Just put this set together to install in my 72 Chevelle, or at least try to install. I think the alternator is going to hit the steering box. The LS3 accessory drive uses the truck offset and the cost of the parts is about the same as finding the older LS1 stuff. The intake is LS2 and the throttlebody is an Edelbrock. I had to grind the bolt boss for the back waterpump cover to clear the throttlebody. Doesn't clear the DBW throttlebody though but I can offset the bracket next time.
