Before I get magic smoke is my alt wiring right?
LSX going into a 91 corvette with 99 Camaro harness and C5 alternator.
My Corvette 91 alternator is a 3 wire set up:
Red is hot 16ga to a fusible link
Brown is the light
pink/blk 12V
The Corvette LS1 is:
S 16ga RED Battery Positive Voltage
F 18ga GRY Generator Field Duty Cycle Signal
L 18ga RED Generator Turn On Signal
This is how I plan to wire it.
Red 91 16ga wire to 16ga RED Battery Positive Voltage on LS1
Brown 91 wire to F 18ga GRY Generator Field Duty Cycle Signal
The pink/blk 91 wire is not used
The wire from the old Camaro plug goes to L 18ga RED Generator Turn On
Thanks

My 2003 C5 into 72 Maverick swap uses only one wire, 12v key-on (no resistor) to the "F" terminal. If you have a dash light you can get by using that alone with nothing else (I think). I have a dash light, but it's an LED and they will not work the same as an incandescent bulb...
