Default ls1 longtubes in 5.3l lsx swap

soo building a nitrous 5.3 fox and wondering if ls1 camaro longtubes can be made to fit?

also in order to use a th350 i just need to enlarge the holes in the flexplate right and do i need to use a spacer for the pilot on the torque convertor?

I don't know about the camaro stuff, but I hear that the fox 5.0 LTs with LS1 flanges welded on work well for some people.

I can't say for sure what will fit your application, but for me, I knew a certain set would fit the car, and I carefully overlaid a picture of an LS1 (Camaro) header overtop of the header I knew would fit, and the angle at the bottom was way off. There was no way I was risking it not fitting, so I went with the more expensive headers.

I have personally held an LS gasket up tp a Ford small block header, and they are VERY close. New LS flanges welded up would certainly work for you if you can't find LS swap headers within your budget.

all the cheaper fox headers are 1 5/8 primaries are those big enough to make decent power or will they choke it.
