Default LQ4 intake vs. LS2 intake

So I get the LQ4 in the camaro with an LS2 intake on it. Then I put the altenator bracket on and run into two problems. First the TPS was in the way and then the small pulley sits directly in front of the throttle bottle. Does that mean I have to get all the LS2 accessories and brackets because the intake on the LQ4 sits up higher than the LS2 intake?

pretty much, as far as i know.

i was going to use the car intake on my lq4 silverado swap till i found out i would have to use car brackets and water pump. so i used my 4.8 intake and dbw tb.

if anyone has a solution i would also love to know it.

You need to get an idler pulley relocating kit, available from Dirty Dingo.com. Then you need to cut off part of the trk brkt in the way. im putting an ls3 intake on my lq4 engine for my 66 chevelle (on l92 heads)..... You'll need the ls2 injectors also....
