Default Clutch issues

Trying to get my truck running. 69 C10 with an Ly6 and a T56. Trans is a 4th Gen Fbody, clutch is 2010 Camaro with new LS1 slave, master and line are new S10 units. I have verified the clutch master is seeing full travel, we have bled the clutch a dozen times. Even replaced the master cylinder. We aren't getting any air coming out at the bleeder, but the clutch is not fully disengaging. With the truck on jack stands, you put it in gear with the clutch pedal down and the wheels start spinning. Hit the brakes and it stalls. I know its a hodge podge of parts, but they should work together. Any help would be appreciated.

did you measure the slave compared to the edge of the bellhousing. sounds like you may need a shim or two behind the slave. just throwing it out there.

I did not. I always ran factory clutches (LS6, LS7) in my Fbodies, so I never dealt with shimming. My buddy who was helping out mentioned the same thing. He had shims in his last car, but it ran a SPEC clutch.
