Default 1984 regal, single turbo 5.3

I figgured it was time to start a build thread since I have allot of questions. This was my first car I got for 700$ when I was 16. I had a real healthy 355 in it with rpm heads and cam, just a fun pounder, after 300 miles of that I spun a lifter sideways and had no ambetion to fix it. So I sold it. New set up....

5.3 with ported 317 heads and tsp .660 lift springs
Single gt45 turbo
Truck manifolds
Vic. Jr efi intake and elow
Zo6 cam.

Still waiting on my heads and intake. I still need to do allot like notch the frame, tin the trunk and put the fuel cell in it. And run a new fuel system. Probably a2000

I am having a hard time trying to figure out what I need to run for front acc. I have a low mount alt bracket, but I doubt that will work with the manifolds in a g body car. No power steering either.

***pics tonight

i have a 85 regal with 6.0 and a t76. i ended up only using the driver side flipped over and building a log for the pass side. i just got it running and am in the middle of tuning it now but santas coming and in upstate ny man its cold. thats a super clean regal. heres a couple of old pics so you can get and idea of how much room you'll have. i have since moved some things around. i kept the truck fead and power steering. your ac delete is gonna help alot and you may be able to do the fbody truck manifold routing with low mount turbo. keep the pics coming.

What did you do for engine mounts? And thanks for the compliment, it has about 200 mines on since getting painted. I have a manual box in it, so no ps.

i used ebay plate steel style non adjustable with prothane mounts, but i had the luxury of just flipping and welding the carb v6 buick engine stands. i used my 4l80e crossmember for my for and aft and my eyeball for left to right with an angle finder for tip (only adjustment would be shimming trans mount)

Nope, I wanted to go to the tbss shoot out but didn't make it. It ran a 12.88 on a mystery pill of nitrous. Its a great daily

Just a little update, I'm waiting on head studs to bold the heads up to. I'm having 2nd thoughts about the gt45. I feel like I would max it out pretty quick with the low compression I'm running. I was thinking maybe a s400, I do not have 1200$ spend on a turbo right now.

What happened with the swap? Any updates? I was searching to see what all clears a regal hood and came across this. Clean car!
