Anyone use the hooker cast iron manifolds yet?
Say if you only have a 4.8 or 5.3 your using for the conversion.. They are supposed to be good to 500 hp and look to be a direct fit and money saver?

I was looking at them, they seem well made. For swaps that are not targeted for any high output and for more Daily Driving. these would work well and most likely can see them in many Rod swaps.

Why waste your money when stock manifolds will work most applications??? And they can be had for cheap! And come with the donor motor. They are very similar the the LS1 F-body manifolds.

Look like 2010 camaro manifolds, ca be bought for under $100. Wonder if they have flow measurements to compare.

The collector looks more like its 45* like the LS1 manifolds vs the 2010 which dump kinda straight down at the rear.

I havent seen anyone ship a decent set of manis for $100 or less.. find me a set that will drop into my 79 camaro conversion for under 100 shipped and I buy them instantly...

the hookers look a lot nicer than the stockers as well but agreed if they are the same angle as 4th gen or 5th gen and you can save 150-200 bucks then its better money spent.. I suppose.. but you need to sandblast them to make them presentable and not everyone has that ability if looks mattered to a person

If corvette or gto manifolds fit, they might be the $50 solution. I actually bought mine for $40.

I look around at performance shops or even local GM dealers for manifolds. Flea bay etc... If you frugal enough you can find something that will work for really cheap!

Most machine shops can shot blast the manifolds for pretty cheap might check there to have them cleaned up.
