I too am looking for a shorter one. I've been scouring the boards. I know I saw another one a few days ago, but I forgot to write down the part number and now I can't find it.

If your going to connect to any AN fitting. how about using the Russell Adapter #640940....

i can make them also, any length out of stainless or regular steel with either the GM style quick disconnect on both ends or a quick disconnect on one and flare with a tube nut/sleeve on the other.
