Default Knock Sensor Location?

Can you put them anywhere on the side of the block? I just got my new short block back. I'm going to be running an LS2 on an LS1 PCM & harness. AES tapped the side of the block for the knock sensors, only problem is, my headers interfere with them. Can anyone tell by looking if I even have the right knock sensors?

No go.

A/C Bracket?

I believe the steering shaft comes through here.

How about here?

Looks fine just be-careful that they are reporting correctly IE you may get false knock etc. Or they may not pick up knock correctly. But I would run one on one side and one on the other. A/C pad should be fine and the drivers side looks perfect.
