Anyone done a ls swap into a GTA?

Anyone done a ls swap into a GTA? Looking for some info from anyone that has done a swap an used a newer style 4l60e tranny an have a analog style 140mph speedometer. Will the vss in the newer trannys still work the factory electronic speedometer?

Yes I'm referring to the 3rd gen cars that had an electronic 140 mph speedometer. Jus need to be sure the vss in a newer 4L60e will supply the correct signal to operate it

I am not sure of the Signal type or the number of pluses, but that can most likely be corrected by correcting the PCM's VSS output signal to match your Speedo.
