Default P0134/P0154 Codes

Getting a little frustrated with these two codes. Any suggestions on what to do from here?

I have done:

Two new 02 sensors
Check continuity from each pin on the ecu down the 02 sensor plug. All checks out.
All wiring is clean, not chaffed or broken.
Have check 02 heater fuse, it is not blown.

Engine :
5.3L
Cold Air
Long tubes
3in Duals with H pipe
220/224 Cam

Otherwise stock.

thanks for your help

Where are the O2 sensors located in the exahaust? Also, what O2 sensors are you using (4 wire flat, 4 wire square black, 4 wire square gray)?

Four wire square Grey connectors. The 02s are about 2 inches after where the header tubes merge in the collector

What controller are you using. The Gray connectors have pulse width modulated heaters that go back to the PCM to be controlled. Only works with certain controllers.

Not aware of using any controller. The harness goes straight to the pcm from 02 sensors. Could I swap to a different o2 sensor? How would I correct that, I would imagine it would run a lot better with functioning o2s.

Are you running a Green/Blue PCM or a Red/Blue PCM? Drive by Wire or Drive By cable? What year is the engine?

On a factory car there is a fuse just for the heaters on the o2's or it gets power from a direct ign circut (ign switch). You're getting those codes due to no power to the O2 heaters. Not sure on your set up but thats a place to start.

Edit or just tune out the codes its more of an emissions thing due to your computer staying in open loop longer when the o2's aren't hot enough.

power wired to relay to run battery power to o2, with a fuse inline. Relay and fuse both check fine. Power at 02 sensor, ground has continuity, continutity from tan and purple wires from pcm all the way to 02 sensor.

The o2 heaters on the gray O2 sensors have the ground routed back to the PCM to have the heater Pulse Width Modulated. The harness/PCM you are using grounds the heater constant. Change the O2s to 4 wire flat black or 4 wire square black connectors.

I would assume that the four wire square black connector is the same as the grey connector. If so, that would be the easiest fix. Which vehicle would have the black four wire 02s?

To follow up: I wired in some oxygen sensors from a 2000 Camaro Z28 and it oscilates fine. A hair slow, but it is bouncing from 200 - 800mV

Thanks a bunch Jon!
