Default Aje motor mount direction in fox??please help!

Can someone please tell me the way these are suppose to go..I keep hearing different thoughts on it..

This is how I think they go


Because this way they hit the front on the block



Any suggestions will help me!

The point forward is what i read. I cant say for sure as I haven't gotten that far on my swap

I cut the angled ends off of mine so I could install them as shown in your last pic. It will position the engine closer to the firewall. I'm not sure how it would affect header fitment, it may cause a problem if you buy dynatech's or kook's headers.

Just took a look at yours..I think I'll bolt them up that way..any header fitment issues?
