How is the best way to go about locating a LS package. Want to install it, in
72 ElCamino. Looking for the whole package, engine, trans, wiring. Will help
remove from crashed veh. located in Colorado

you can try car-part.com (dont forget the dash between car and part or you will be on a different site)

what you do is enter a vehicle that came with the RPO engine you desire by choosing year/model/etc...till you are sure the search should bring up the package you want then choose how far you want to travel and all the participating junkyards listings will show up and you can view by closest ,cheapest , etc... beyond that maybe get friendly with a dealer that goes to insurance auctions for wrecks.

you could try craigs list etc... but I think most cars with an ls3/ls6 will still have full coverage insurance on them so when they get totalled the insurance company will end up with them so you either need to buy at the auction that ins companies sell at or from a yard that buys at those auctions


my own opinion dont be afraid of miles and you can save a lot of $$$ and still get a real nice package- if youve got to have super low miles its going to cost ya
