Default 57 Chevy and 4l80e

Has anyone used a 4L80e in a 57 Chevy? I am just in the initial planning stage and am gathering info. I don't want to alter the tunnel. Thanks.

I saw that using Search function, but the trans wasn't a 4L80e. Thanks anyway.

I just installed a 1992 5.7 with a 4l80e from a GMC van. I have a '57 that began life as a one ton flat bed. I clipped it with a '76 camaro and a rear end from a Nova. I used stock motor mounts and an aftermarket trans mount and installed it as low on the frame as possible. I have about an inch clearance. I am still working on the project and now I am looking to install new power brakes on frame and hoping I have enough side clearance. Gary McGillvary, Clarksville Tn.
