If you swap the bellhousings, will an LT1 4L60E work on a LS1?

Are there any differences besides the bellhousings?

You don't need to swap belhousing to make them fit. They both bolt right up the problem is the torque convertor.

Im doing an LS1 swap and I believe I was delivered an LT1 transmission by mistake. Im most likely going to have to return it though. The Torque converter hits flexplate before bellhousing hits block and that spacer will make it worse. Any other ideas?

Maybe it popped out and is just not fully seated. You'll need to spin it and push in at the same time and it'll pop in another inch.
