New twin 6.0 build
Hi I am putting together a 6.0 for my 62 buick with a 4l80 behind it. I don't know much about these motors, just that they are strong. I have heard that there is a lot of interchangeable parts. Here's where I'm at. I have the motor apart and block is heading to the machine shop. I am ordering forged k1 rods and wiseco pistons.ARP head and main studs.I bought a holley hi ram intake and commander fuel injection. I plan on ordering a tu1 cam and tooley springs. (I guess stock rockers are ok to use). This motor will be run on e85. I also just ordered twin gt35's , looking for 7-8 hundred hp.
What is a good double roller chain? What oil pump should I use? Does the crank pulley act as a dampner? Is a stock one ok? New GM lifters ok? Any knowledge shared is appreciated... I know im all over the place but I have so much to consider. Thanks!!!

check Texas Speed for a dual chain, LS6 oil pump, LS7 lifters, cam and all
valvetrain components(push rods, springs,retainers,locks,seals, etc.)
An aftermarket pulley/damper will help dramatically reduce crank vibrations
on a high powered turbo application. Most use the stock one for up to 600ish
flywheel horse as turbos make power at a relatively low rpm, however you
seem to be of the 2 is better than one mindset where 7-800 horse happens
almost by accident and escalates from there.......... gl2ya
