i was thinking of using my TH350 transmission and mating it to a 5.3L vortec motor. has anyone used this? im wondering if this is all thats needed to go into my 68 tempest. it comes w/ the flexplate, spacer and bolts. is the th350 torque converter compatible with this set up?

i eventually want to go for the 4l60e, but im on the cheapest budget possible.
