5.3/4L60e first start After 3 year build I am getting close to starting the engine for the first time. I do not have the drive shaft, just the slip joint in the rear of the tranny to keep from leaking the fluid. Is it safe to operate the transmission thru the gears without the complete driveshaft. Will the slip joint work its way out or will it stay in place while it is spinning.
