Default What motor mounts for 80 malibu?

i have a sbc with clamshell mounts right now and dont know which mounts to buy for my 6.0l. and when i find the right ones does they need to be a certain setback? im running a powerglide for a tranny.
any input is appreciated. thanks

DirtyDingo.com site will have every option you are looking for. I have the "sliders" used with my clam shells in my junk and I thought it worked out well.

They make adapter's that bolt on to the block and adapt to the clam type mounts . They work great in those gbody's I had a 5.3 witha turbo awhile back in a 78 bu and it works fine with a glide you can hook up to the factory crossmember . eBay always has some I think there bout $60 If I remember .

It depends on if you have A/C or not.. the factory AC heater box is pretty bulky and you will have contact issues with the coil on the pass side. If you run AC run standard position plates (but may cause oil pan clearance issues. If you have NON AC or a firewall blank off, then go 1in setback. More header clearance, better oil pan clearance and it wont hit the heater box. I used 1 in setback carshop motor mounts. Fit perfect and clears my Non AC hvac box with zero trimming.
